"The Vale of Glamorgan, which I represent as Labour’s AM, is a beautiful and diverse county. Representing my constituents in the National Assembly for Wales is a huge privilege, and one I strive hard to live up to.
Encompassing urban, rural and seaside landscapes, the Vale contains the full range of social and economic circumstances you would expect from such a county of contrasts.
My goal is to represent all my constituents with energy and attention to detail, and work in partnership with others to bring the positive benefits of devolution home to the Vale of Glamorgan.
I want to secure a socially fair and economically vibrant future for my constituency, and I welcome help and participation from any quarter to achieve this.

I would also like to report that I am giving my salary increase this year to support community projects in Uganda. There are a number of UN goldstar community projects linking Wales to Africa and one of them is the 'Vale4Africa' project linked to Toronto in Uganda.
